Super porridge

Now they often say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and having a bowl of porridge is a great choice.IMG_8493

 

Here is how I like to prepare mine, take around 80 to 100 grams of porridge, add a tea spoon of chia seeds add 150 ml of almond milk  to porridge, stir until mixed evenly, pop in microwave for 1 min 30 secs, add another 25 ml to 50 ml of almond milk till the porridge has reached the desired consistency.  Add a cupful of blue berries, mix, dash add half a tea spoon of cinnamon.IMG_8671 IMG_8501

5 reasons why this is a great meal to have in morning

  • Porridge releases energy slow through out the day leaving you less hungry, so your less likely to snack
  • Chia seeds aid digestion aiding movement in the digestional tract,
